- Install, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems, following industry standards and safety protocols.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment, utilizing technical expertise and tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Calibration and Testing:
- Calibrate instruments and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability, adhering to calibration procedures and documentation.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, calibrations, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with engineers, other technicians, and team members to troubleshoot problems, develop solutions, and share knowledge.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Optimization:
- Ensure that equipment is operating at optimal performance levels, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance system performance and reliability.
Compensation & Benefits:
On Rotation: $80/day (paid for all 35 working days) Standby Off Rotation: $40/day (50% of base rate) Emergency Callback:24-hour notice required during standby period Flights: Economy class international tickets provided (home country to worksite) Accommodation: Secure camp with meals provided Visa/Insurance: Work visa, medical insurance, and security arranged by client Tax Status: Salary paid to non-resident account; tax-free unless home country imposes taxes • Qualifications: Diploma/ITI in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering/Technology 9+ years in oil & gas electrical maintenance (GCC/international experience required) Expertise in HV/LV systems, Ex-rated equipment, and oilfield power distribution.
