Legal Counsel – Arabic Speaking | TMT & M&A

We are working with a prestigious client in Abu Dhabi looking to onboard a high-calibre Arabic-speaking Legal Counsel to join their growing team.

Role responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of TMT and M&A transactions.

- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including technology, licensing, distribution, and partnership contracts.

- Take ownership of building and leading the legal department, establishing best practices, and developing a strong in-house legal function.

- Advise on regulatory and compliance matters across the UAE and wider region.

- Assist with corporate governance, board matters, and internal policy development.

- Liaise with external counsel as needed for complex or cross-border legal issues.

- Support internal teams on legal matters related to ongoing and future projects.

Requirements:

- Fluent Arabic speaker (spoken and written)

- 5+ years’ experience as a Legal Counsel or similar in-house role

- Strong TMT and M&A legal experience

- Qualified in a relevant jurisdiction (UAE, UK, US, or similar)

- Based in the UAE/willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi. There is no remote working.
