Forbes Middle East, the region’s leading voice in business journalism, is looking for an experienced Managing Editor to lead its editorial strategy, shape impactful business narratives, and represent the Forbes brand on major platforms.

🔍 About the Role:

The Managing Editor will drive content strategy and execution while collaborating closely with the leadership team. This role combines editorial excellence, strategic influence, and regional insight to uphold the brand’s global reputation.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lead editorial operations from story ideation to multiplatform publishing

✅ Create high-impact business features, interviews & thought leadership

✅ Mentor and manage a diverse editorial team

✅ Represent Forbes ME across high-profile events, media, and panels

✅ Collaborate with commercial and event teams to align editorial and business goals

✅ Maintain top-tier editorial standards and regional relevance

✅ Liaise with senior leaders, policymakers & influencers

✅ Moderate forums and lead media presence at strategic events

🎓 Qualifications:

✔️ 15+ years in editorial leadership or business journalism

✔️ Strong command of UAE/GCC media and audience landscape

✔️ Proven storytelling and interviewing excellence

✔️ Digital-first mindset & multiplatform publishing experience

✔️ Confident public speaker and event moderator

✔️ Strong editorial vision with commercial awareness

✔️ Existing media/influencer network in the region preferred

✔️ Abu Dhabi-based or ready to relocate immediately
