SR. PIPING ENGINEER

Industry: Petrochemical Company

Job location: Qatar

Contract Duration: 5 yrs.

Work Schedule: 8 hours per day / 5 days a week

Bachelor's degree in discipline Engineering with 10 years of experience in design/engineering in the field of Oil and Gas/ Petrochemical industry.

Knowledge of piping design/engineering.

Familiar with Industrial/International Piping Codes & Standards and able to identify and analyze different piping systems, for instance (API, ANSI, ASME, DIN, etc.).

Generating of ISO and GAD sketches based on site conditions, above and underground piping.

Interpreting of PFD/PID and transfer it to piping drawings ready for construction.

Familiar with static and rotating equipment.

Familiar with mechanical equipment package systems.

Knowledge of support and insulation types for different services.

Knowledge of manual valve types and its suitability for different application, as well as pressure relief valves.

Understanding equipment requirements connected to piping system.

Using Caesar II for static and dynamic piping stress analysis.

Prepares design sketches and drawings of various facilities based on modification requests, design calculations, field measurements, codes and standards.

Makes the required mechanical calculations on computer/by hand.

Assist in inspection during testing and evaluate test results of equipment
