🔹 About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of material procurement for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project timelines, vendor coordination, cost optimization, and supply chain risk management.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

Review material requests from project sites and validate against BOQs.

Generate and manage purchase orders for approved requisitions.

Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, availability, and lead times.

Track deliveries and align logistics with site requirements.

Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.

Resolve any issues related to delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods.

Ensure all procurement activity aligns with compliance standards.

Maintain up-to-date procurement logs and documentation.

Weekly Oversight

Prepare weekly procurement reports (PO summaries, delivery updates, pending items).

Analyze vendor performance and pricing trends.

Update procurement schedules in line with project milestones.

Conduct market research to assess material availability and costs.

Participate in coordination meetings with project, finance, and warehouse teams.

Reconcile procurement spend with finance and maintain accurate invoicing.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and alternative sourcing.

Audit supplier contracts and negotiate better commercial terms.

Highlight and report potential supply chain risks.

✅ Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in procurement within the construction industry.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
