Oil & Gas Operator based in Qatar is looking for Senior Digital Project Engineer. The role is an initial secondment contract till 31/12/2025 working 5 days per week / 8 hours per day and will be in Doha.
Day rate, accommodation & transportation allowances and economy class flights provided.

Job Description Highlights:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Engineering Degree or Masters preferably in chemical engineering.
Minimum 15 years' experience of which: 12 years general upstream oil and gas experience; 3 years Safety Engineering and technical integrity experience in a large oil and gas organization. Familiar with safety engineering industry standards and guidelines.
ENGINEER is recommended to be Functional Safety certified and HAZOP Leader.
Knowledge of scenario-based risk assessment or QRA, FERA, SECE identification, performance standards, bowtie and safety barrier development inline with IOGP standards
Knowledge or experience with agile development and with UX/User Center Design principles.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
Good problem solving and facilitation skills, great time management and organization skills, team spirit behaviour, and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
Fluent in English as a business language.

Responsible for delivering bow-tie diagram with PFDs values in line with OREDA
Accountability is associated to the soundness of the solutions and recommendations proposed on integrity and major risks assurance management.
Representative of IMR in the Field modifications impact assessment
Responsible for delivering an accurate and reliable status of the ongoing Impact assessment
Instrumental into the expected promotion of Integrity management assurance within the organization.
Strategic:
To define and own the overall strategy and direction of the product. Iterate with and engage stakeholders and sponsors to test and refine requirements.
To be the business and users' representative within the DPG taskforce, to support product adoption by the users, provide post-production support & bugs resolution and manage users' feedbacks.
To maximize the value of the product resulting from the work of the development team including User Experience aspects.
