*Job Description:*

We're looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our cross-functional team in Dubai. As a senior developer, you'll work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and engineers to co-develop digital products. Our engineers contribute across the full technology stack, from database and DevOps infrastructure to front-end development.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Use Agile engineering practices to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions

- Collaborate with team members to craft clear user stories, design tests, and deliver product enhancements

- Liaise with other teams to negotiate timelines, deliverables, and dependencies

- Drive best practice engineering processes and Agile behavior

- Communicate with business stakeholders about Agile processes and delivery methods

*Required Skills & Background:*

- 8+ years of software development experience with Agile teams

- Full stack engineer with experience in Java 7/8, Java EE, Spring framework, and other Java Open Source frameworks

- Expertise in Cloud Native Microservices, Event-Driven design, and Integration Gateway

- Excellent knowledge of ElasticSearch, Redis, MongoDb, Apache Kafka, and RESTful APIs

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI-CD, and SQL databases

- Strong understanding of design patterns, continuous deployment, and application security

*Nice-to-Have Skills:*

- Familiarity with Functional Programming concepts

- Experience with unit testing frameworks like jUnit
