We are hiring Purchasing Manager!!
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices and terms
Prepare purchase orders as per the requisition received.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Verify invoices and ensure reconciled with the PO and items received.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
Develop and implement purchasing strategies, manage inventory levels, and forecast future needs.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, analyze market trends, and seek opportunities for better pricing and terms.
Inspect deliveries for discrepancy or damage
Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement
Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities
Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment
Keep an organized allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store
Ensure storage of goods follow the first in first out (FIFO) method
Ensure supplier invoices are in line with FTA requirements
Resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices, such as incorrect amounts or missing documentation.
Ensure that procurement and spending comply with internal policies and approved budgets
Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and contracts, including payment terms and contact information.
Perform any other tasks as required and assigned by the Finance manager or General Manager
Qualification:
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, procurement software) and a strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
Valid UAE driving license
At least 2 years’ experience in procurement department preferably in food and beverage sector.
