Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Resident Engineer (High-Rise Projects) to join a reputable consulting firm. The successful candidate will act as the firm’s key technical representative on-site, overseeing all aspects of construction to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves close collaboration with contractors, consultants, project managers, and clients to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of premium high-rise developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for high-rise projects, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, drawings, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Monitor materials and workmanship to achieve superior quality finishes aligned with design intent.
• Coordinate daily site operations among contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
• Identify and resolve any design, specification, or site-related discrepancies through timely and practical technical solutions.
• Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive construction progress reports, site diaries, and inspection documentation.
• Supervise all technical aspects of high-rise construction, including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and façade systems.
• Manage project schedules, procurement activities, and site logistics to ensure on-time achievement of key milestones.
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
• Participate in regular progress and coordination meetings with senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate contractor performance and recommend necessary corrective measures to maintain quality and schedule targets.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of site-based engineering experience, with extensive exposure to high-rise building projects (40+ floors preferred).
• Proven expertise in high-end finishes, complex architectural detailing, façade systems, and vertical transportation systems.
• Prior experience working with a consulting firm is highly desirable.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Primavera P6; familiarity with BIM processes is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with at least 3 years in a senior site supervision role on high-rise projects.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities, particularly when interfacing with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
